For Buyers

UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS.

Buying real estate is a complex matter and can be especially confusing for the first-time homebuyer. Do yourself a favour and learn as much about the process as you can before you begin. There are plenty of resources on the Internet. I have written a handy book titled "Home Buyer's Guide" that takes you through every step of the home buying process. This book is free. All you need to do is call me and ask for a copy. I will happily drop one off for you.

HIRE A REALTOR.

As a buyer, it usually costs nothing to hire a real estate professional to help you find and purchase a home--your Realtor will likely get a portion of the commission the seller pays to his Realtor. When choosing an agent, find a professional who has been in the business long enough to know the business inside and out. Find someone you get along with and feel comfortable talking to. Once you've chosen an agent, stick with that agent. They can do the best job for you if they know the work they are doing for you is not also being done by numerous other agents as well. Listen to your agent, and make your own decisions based on the information you've been given. If you don't know who to call, call me. It's that easy!
